Aisha Hinds is an American actress best known for playing roles in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her 2003 debut she has proven her acting versatility by performing outstandingly in TV series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7, and Under the Dome. First noticed in 2005 for her role as Anna, as seen on Assault on Precinct 13 However, it was her performance of the feminist Fannie Louis Hamer in the biopic All the Way, which gave her the respect she earned as an actress. Hind is also being recognized for her role performed in the role of Harriet Tubman within WGN America's period-drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed the show for a fresh season. Hind completed filming recently in the Hollywood flick Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It's scheduled to release in the middle of 2019.
