Bernadette and Jen

Bernadette Peters (born Bernadette lazzara on February 28, 1948) is an American actor, singer, and children's book author born in Ozone Park Queens New York . Her professional career spans over five decades and includes the stage, television as well as solo performances and recording. She was nominated and won three Drama Desk Awards. Grammy Awards went to four Broadway Cast Albums, in which she starred. Peters started her acting career on stage in 1960s as a teenager, and later in the 1970s, she worked in TV as well as film.
